Diana has been a school leader for the past 4 years. Currently she serves as the Assistant Head of School at an elementary charter school in Brooklyn, NY. There she founded and expanded the Special Education and Electives Departments.

Diana works with the Relay Graduate School of Education to grade and provide feedback to educators seeking their certification in Special Education in New York and Chicago.

Diana leverages her to consult for different organizations. With Opportunity Consulting, Diana provides guidance and assistance to Washington, D.C. charter schools to expand and improve their Special Education Departments.

Diana works as an advocate with Umoja Collective to prepare and educate families on Special Education systems, processes, and nuances to empower them during student IEP meetings.

Diana partners with Journey Therapy Center in facilitating Trauma-Informed De-Escalation Training and Coaching to charter schools in the tri-state area.

Diana has taught grades Kindergarten - Second Grade as both a lead teacher and small group instructor. She prioritizes making learning fun and loves teaching foundational reading skills to students.
